I have a 90 camaro and everytime I slow down or stop it just shuts off.. any idea's why? any information would be great! Thanks for the help!

Is it reading any computer codes on the dash? There is a list of things that will tell you. It could be anything from electrical to fuel. Best thing would be is to have it plugged in and the on board computer read to find out exactly what the problem is. Will save you time and money in the long run.

I own a shop, and think this; It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. Your brakes uses the big booster that eats a lot of vacuum, and if you don't have enough vacuum to work it without robbing from the engine vacuum, then it will kill the engine. Check the brake booster to rule out it may be leaking. Look for any hoses that are off, cracked or split where they plug on, or just full of holes from being old. Even a bad EGR, or PCV valve can do this, as well as a bad throttle position sensor, but first make sure its not running out of vacuum when you stop.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
