if the new Camaro is built, it will more than likely come with the semi-automatic transmission.you know what i'm talking about,right?-the automatic transmissions that have a gear-shift with the lower region of it having a + and - symbol. + is for upshift. - is for downshift. semi-automatic transmissions give you the the option of letting the transmission act as a normal automatic or let you do the plus and minus shifting thing. there is no clutch in a semi-automatic tranny. if you allow it to reach redline before upshifting, it will shift itself. unfortunately, general motors no longer produces fully manual transmissions.

If it gets built, and GM doesn't go under, I'm sure it would come with either option. Since Canada gave GM bailout money, and the Camero is built there, it will probably survive.
