Chest Presses on a Fit Ball with two dumb bells?

I heard this was a good way to build my chest and also build stabilizers muscles (I used to bench on a machine and found my pecs grew quickly, but I had no strength)

Anyway, I am finding my chest is getting better definition, but when I work out the burn is all in the back of my arms and no burn in my pecs ? Is there a better way I can do it using the fit ball ?

15 Reps 3 Sets is my normal ??

Would push ups work better ?
