Chest pain

I have a sharp and stabbing pain on my left side about an inch below my bra line, what could this be?

Wow what a coincidence! I was browsing the internet just now because I am having the exact same thing. It's around the vicinity of my heart--and I don't like to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to ignore it either. I've experienced this in the past but I ignore it. But lately I've been having other weird symptoms that have gotten me an appointment at a prominent medical center here in Tennessee. I just want answers really because it is all quite worrisome.

I started getting sharp pain in the same place and sometimes in my armpit about 5 years ago. My Doctor diagnosed it as referred pain from my neck. He advised me to see a Chiropracter, it worked. The pain returns at times and I go for more Chiro. My neck problem is caused by bad posture which causes tight muscles. I hope this helps.
