Last night i wasn't able to fall asleep for hours because of this intense pain i had in my chest. I've had it a few times before but i thought it was nothing and it would go away. However, last night it continued to hurt for hours and i don't know what the cause of it is. It was so excruciating, i really wanted to cry. The pain sort of traveled around my chest (left side to center to right side, although it was more frequent on the left side). I don't think it was from something i ate because the last time i ate was 6 hours before the pain even started. I guess i could describe the pain as sharp. In addition to the pain, i felt unusually cold. I had two warm blankets covering me and i was still shivering.
If someone knows what it might be, please tell me. I'm going to go see a doctor tomorrow, but for now i thought maybe i could get some insight here. I'm a 17 year old female. Also, I have Hypothyroidism and am currently undergoing treatment.
