You need to see a doctor. There has never been a time in history that the heart has been better understood, that treatment has been so effective, and the quality of life has been so great for those suffering.

Please do not wait until your symptoms become an emergency, because at that point, it could be too late.

I too have high blood pressure (well controlled with simple medication), have had a heart attack, and lived through it with flying colors. My lifestyle is active, I participate in my children's lives everyday, and enjoy all life has to offer.

Worry is the most counter productive choice you can make when dealing with your health. Fear is not realistic, and it can do long term damage to your health, without any positive outcome.

Instead, arm yourself with facts, and trust in the professionals to diagnose and treat your chest pains. I understand that can be a hard concept to overcome, but it will serve you well in your treatment of health issues, for the rest of you and your families life.

I wish you well...

thank you for replying,i am wondering if my problem is anything to do with my monthly cycle as it gets worse the week before i start my period,i am not even sure the pain is in my chest,it seems to be in my brest!and its like a pinch in one part of my brest not all over?

Hi, I had chest pain and then after some tests, the doctor discovered that I was anemic. I didn't realize that anemia can cause chest pain, but it does, so check with your doctor right away. It could be anything.

bilybowl makes a good point... Your symptoms could be caused by any number of things, some very simple. A little check up can go a long way to ease your mind.
