Chest pain and nausea

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this:
For 6 months now, I've been nauseous almost every day. It's not all day long, but most of the time is starts somewhere after noon, and it's late in the afternoon (before dinner). It feels a lot like motion sickness and not like I-just-ate-something-bad, and it's a horror to take the bus home from work or school every day, because it gets worse then (I never used to get motion sickness before). There is NO loss of appetite, eating sometimes relieves the nausea a bit, and though I'm cutting down on the snacks, I'm eating a healthy diet. The nausea can be really bad and though it makes me feel like throwing up, I never actually do.

I went to the doctor, and because I felt terrible pain when he put pressure on my stomach area, he thought that it was an infection of stomach lining. However, the medication he prescribed didn't work; he prescribed something stronger, which didn't work either.
In the months following that, the doctor gave me other medicines as well, for stomach acid and for my colon, but nothing worked.
An ultrasound showed nothing, according to the blood and urine tests everything was fine.

In the mean time a large area of my chest and upper stomach reason is now very painful. When I apply pressure to my ribcage or just below my ribcage (gentle pressure, like scratching when I have an itch) it hurts really bad and the pain also lingers for a while, like a bruise. I'm sure this has something to do with the nausea, but I have no idea in what? I have an endoscopy tomorrow, but I'm not really convinced that they'll find anything this time.

Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? I'm getting so tired of being nauseous so often, and though it's been six months, I'm not any wiser or less nauseous than 6 months ago, despite various visits to the doctor.

Thanks,
Natascha
