Chest Pain and arm stiffness?

I have had chest pain and arm pain/stiffness for about a week now. I went and got checked out at the ER and Xrays/Bloodtests/EKG all came back normal. I am 21 years old and they didnt think it was anything serious but told me to get a full physical at my doctor and go see a cardiologist.

Last year around the same time I had the same problem after I lifted this huge block off the ground with my left arm. I went to the cardiologist and I had a stress test EKG and they checked my heart out with a sonogram. Everything came back normal.

I am somewhat scared because this is symptoms to a heart attack but this has been going on for a week.

When I do strenuous work like lifting or walking up 5-8 flights up steps my chest doesn't hurt and my arm doesn't hurt....

Should I honestly be worried about anything? My doctor appointments are like a week/2weeks away and I cant stop thinking about whats going on with my body.

I dohave acid reflux and I take aciphex (not every day)

Do you have any other symptoms no matter how small?

It's difficult to help when all you say is you have chest pain.

What type of pain (throbing, stabbing, sharp etc)?

How often do you get it (after eating, when I wake up, when I lay down etc)?

Is there anything you can do when it comes to eleviate the pain?

The more information you give the more help we can provide.

Its sorta a mix of both stabbing and sharp pain in the chest it comes very quick when I am at rest on the chest wall on the left side.

I havent been getting the pain the pass couple days how ever now my chest is sore now (it wasn't before), today I was lifting weights and that side of my chest was hurting. But when I walk up flights up steps it doesn't hurt. My lower arm (below the elbow) had this tightness to it and had pain running along the outside of the arm that would run up to my pinky and thumb..

You may have a muscular skeletal injury from your training, if your lifting weights and it's giving you problems you may well need to stop for a while so it can heal.

Or it could be reflux a condition called Gastro oesophagial reflux, it's a condition where the oesophageal sphincter is to relaxed. This allows stomach content and acid to flow back up the oesophagus. It will produce symptoms like yours and becomes worse when lying down. If this is the case you will need to sit up in bed to alleviate the pain. You would need to see a doctor who may send you for a gastroscopy to check the sphincter and also rule out hernias or ulcers.

Try taking a stronger anti acid it may help, but you may have to cut down on fatty foods, eat smaller amounts and try not to eat a meal close to bedtime.
