chest feels tickly

I am new to this, so please ignore my silly questions, but I need a little help. My cough has been a non-productive dry one along with shortness of breath until yesterday. I feel like a tickly sort of feeling in my chest, not my throat and then I start coughing. Is this a normal asthma thing? I just dont' know what's typical and what's not. Thank you for being patient with my questions.
 
Ye, it is a normal feeling when your asthma is not under control or you are about to have an attack.
 
Thank you, I will remeraber that. I guess I better get back to the asthma doctor and ask some real questions. I appreciate your help so much.
