Chess: Which point system is beneficial to the game: 1,0.5,0 or 3,1,0 (W,D,L)?

For example in London chess classic 2010 we saw 3 points for win and 1 point for draw as against the usual 1 point for the win and 0.5 for the draw. Carlsen won the tournament with 13 points , Anand and Mcshane tied at second place with 11 points. Had 1,0.5,0 been used these three would've tied for first place at 4.5 points. Interestingly Anand and Mcshane did not lose any of their games , while Carlsen lost two , but also had most wins in the tournament hence winning it. Maybe Carlsen played differently from others , working the point system.

So, which point system do you think is good for the game?
