Cherokee or dodge ram?

Ok so i am trying to choose between a 90's cherokee and a 90's dodge ram (extended cab, reg bed). they'll both end up being lifted and taken up to the mountains and i just want to get some opinions on which one is better. Reliability? Power? Handling? GAS MILEAGE? i love the look of both but i just cant bring myself to choose one. thanks for some insight!
 
Available power trains are the same, the jeep is not as long or heavy as the Ram so it gets better millage than the Ram and for off roading its more nimble than the Ram. So far as reliability they are both mopars and money can't buy better. In fact the only people that have a problem with a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep never owned one and we they see the word HIME they poop there pants.
 
dodge ram for sure. ur gunna get the most use out of the pickup. plus u can do so much more customization wise to the dodge ram. Ram has much more power. Gas mileage and handling might go to the jeep but who cares about that. you just need a sweet truck.
 
te ram is better to off road in and lot easier to lift also,the cherokee just wasn't meant to be an off road vehicle,they look good lifted though but don't go as good as a lifted ram would,good luck.
