A graduated cylinder weighs 12.658 g. 8.5mL of water are placed in the graduated cylinder. If a solid aluminum cube is then added to the cylinder. The total weight of the cylinder, water, and aluminum solid is 27.586g. What will the final volume of the water be in the graduated cylinder? density of aluminum= 2.7 g/mL

try using this equation mi x vi = mf x vf

in translation mass initial * volume initial equals to mass final * volume final. just plug in the numbers.
