ok so im given 2 things and i must find the grams or w/e. i dont really understand it i just know how to do it except when im not given an equation to balance and look at. Heres the question i need help with.
if you wouldnt mind doing it my way and also explaining it that would be awesome.
ok so i use the formula (C/A)B = D
c = the grams given to you
a = the compound that the grams were given to u.
b = what compound you are trying to find in grams.
d = result.
Heres the problem.
Magnesium will react with oxygen gas to form a magnesium oxide . If 10.0 grams of magnesium are burned in an atmosphere containing excess oxygen, what is the mass ( in grams) of the product?
