4Al(s) + 3O2(g)----> 2Al2O3(s)

How many grams of Al will react with 12.0 L of O2 at STP?

use the eq, in 1 L at stp there is 22.414 L
so say 12.0L/1 *1mol/22.414L = .535 mol O2

now .535 mol O2/1 *4 mol Al/3 mol O2* 26.98 g Al/ 1 mol Al= 19.2 g Al
