A 4.00L glass bulb containing ideal gas at 350K is connected to a second 4.00 L glass bulb containing ideal gas held at 250k. The bulb at 250k has twice as many particles of ideal gas as the 350k bulb. When the bulbs are connected and cooled to 210K the total pressure is 1.4atm. How many mols of gas were originally in the bulb held at 350K?
So not too sure how to go about starting this problem, I know that we're gonan be using n2 = 2n1 meaning twice the mols of our first bulb. and that Vt = 8.0l which is are volume total when these are connected. Not quite sure how to go about solving this problem, any help is appreciated. thanks.
