Acids are too dangerous unless you get the teachers help in making dilute solutions.
WATER ANALYSIS:
You could get in pH ...acidity and basicity of water.
How about Titrations such as determining how much Chloride there is in a sample of water....you would be using Silver Nitrate, pipette, burette, titrimeter.
Chloride determination is important in boiler waters
Calcium and Magnesium form Dissolved solids and these can be tested for too.
The more dissolved solids there is in water, the more hardness you have, and higher hardness collects in pipes to clog them eventually.
There's also Water tests for Iron and Copper.
