I am a Junior level college student.
Once I obtain my B.S. in chemistry, I am planning to work on a Ph.D. in physical chemistry.
I do not come from a military background and in fact I am a first generation American.
If I do succeed in obtaining a Ph.D., is the military in need of research scientists in my field and if so which branch should I look into?
I am not interested in combat and I would like to avoid physical exercise as much as possible. I'm not in bad shape, I just would rather not have to over-exert myself.
Thank you for your response CK.
Though, Im not really a fan of organic chemistry and my goal is to go into research.
