how is the molecular mass of a ompound the same as the molar mass? and how is it different?

what i have is...1 molar mass of a compound is equal to the sum of all the entities that make up that compound. which is its molecular mass.

Molecular mass is measured in daltons or atomic mass units (same thing); molar mass is measured in grams. The number is the same, but the unit is different.
