S skipper New member Oct 2, 2009 #2 molarity = moles / liters rearrange to solve for moles- moles = molarity x liters HCl + NaOH --> NaCl + H2O 1 mole HCl neutralized by 1 mole of NaOH M x L = M x L 0.1 M x 0.020 L = ? M x 0.040 L ? M = 0.1 x 0.02 / 0.04 = 0.05 M NaOH = 0.05 M
