A GAS CYLINDER CONTAINS 11.6 MOLES OF O2 GAS AT 298 K.THE CYLINDER HAS A VOLUME OF 9.43 LITRES THE CYLINDER IS NOW HEATED TO 75 DEGREE CELSIUS AND THEN A VALVE IS OPENED TO ALLOW THE O2 TO ESCAPE.THE FINAL TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE ARE 75 DEGREE CELSIUS AND 1 atm PRESSURE.CALCULATE THE MASS OF OXYGEN THAT HAS ESCAPED.
 
Final tempeture is:T= 273.15k +75 = 348.15K
Final volume: V=9.43L
P=1 atm
K= 8.20578x10^-2 L*atm* k^-1*mol^-1

PV=nRT
n=PV/RT= (1atm)(9.43L)/(8.20578x10^-2 L*atm* k^-1*mol^-1)(348.15K)
= 0.330mol

Then 0.330mol (16.0g O2/mol) = 5.28g of oxygen scape
