A rectangular sheet of lead shielding is placed over the chest of a patient in a dental office while X-rays are taken. the sheet measures 95.0 cm by 45.0 cm by 0.15 cm. If the density of lead is 11.3 g/cm^3, What is the MASS of the lead apron??

This is really easy. You find the volume of the lead sheet by multiplying 95 cm x 45 cm x .15 cm, and then you divide it by 11.3 to get your answer in grams.

95.0cm x 45.0 cm x 0.15cm =641.25cm3

641.25cm3/11.3 g/cm3 the dementional Quanititys will cancel leaving grams. 56.74 grams.
