1) A hydrocarbon with an empirical formula of C2H3 took 349 seconds to effuse through a porous plug. Under the same conditions of temperature and pressure, it took 210 seconds for the same amount of argon atoms to effuse. what is the molecular formula of the hydrocarbon?

2) A 2.747 g sample of Manganese metal is reacted with excess HCL gas to produce 3.22 L H2(g) at 373 K and .951 atm and a manganese chloride compound (Mnclx) what is the formula of the manganese chloride compound produced in the reaction?

I understand the ideal gas law, i just don't know how to apply it to this problem. I found that the moles of hydrogen, but then i am lost from there
