Chemistry and Geysers? Does this make sense?

As the Temperature increases, the volume of the water increases as it turns into steam. The amount of material(n) is constant, and R is constant as well. Pressure must increase, due to an increase in temperature. If pressure increases to much, then the geyser erupts. Once, the geyser erupts, n decreases, and so pressure decreases because there are no more materials left inside the ground.
