Cheddars, Olive Garden, or Applebees better place to work NO SPAM!!!?

I'm going to apply as a Line chef next year at either of the 3 restaurants but have heard horror stories about them all (most from servers) but I was wondering if anyone has worked at any of these as a line chef or even at all?
I heard that the average wage is $11 per hour for a line cook and I have experience cooking at my house so will this be very hard, do they just throw you out in the water or train you the first few days... Sorry for all of the questions, but your help is appreciated :)
