Yes, and they've been buying them for far more, hell if I could snag a PS3 for $1.5k right now I'd do it just to resale.

You realize that there won't be nearly enough supply to meet the demand closing in on Xmas and that prices will continue to go up as desperate consumers try and snag one to put under the tree.

They'll dry up in the next couple of days, then come Dec. 1st there will probably be another flood so a little before and about a week after will be the time to hit

The same thing that happened with the 360 is going to happen with the Ps3 except magnified (due to far less supply,) which means no drop in price and no dip in demand leading up to Xmas, the only price dip happened after the holidays but prices were still high all the way until march.

...Costco said they expect another shipment sometime before x-mas, but don't know when. I imagine it wont be for a while.

I have 2 gamecrazy preorders that should come in before Xmas and maybe a few at Ecost that might come in by the 16th Although I still feel my best bet is hitting up a costco when/if they get them in the warehouses.
