Check Switch Failure on 2A

This evening when I turned on the TV to watch some HD I noticed none of the channels were coming in.

So I did some looking and found when I ran a check switch under Satellite 82 2A now has an X.

1B 1A 2B 2A
91 91 82 82
Even Odd Even X

Before I go pulling wires from the LNB etc. Can anyone suggest what might have caused 2A to simply fail?

We have had the power flicker once or twice during the heat wave... Thinking hydro was simply diverting or transferring load.

Is this something I would see when a SW44 goes bad?

Or possible LNB go bad?

Any advice is appreciated...

Cheers!

First thing I would do is swap 2a with 2b, run the Check Switch again, that will point you towards the Cable/Connectors/LNBF if the problem moves to 2a or the Switch if it stays with 2b.

Ah thanks... did that and did a check switch. This time everythign checked out.

Thanks!
