Well i been having the car for a while now and suddenly the service engine light came on, i went to autozone to get the code and it was a heater oxygen sensor so i replaced that and disconnected the battery for the whole night to reset the computer but the light came on again. I figured it was time for a tune up so in my day off i replaced the head gasket because it needed replacing and i replaced all of the oxygen sensors the car had, also i added new spark plugs because it needed it and i had the catalytic converter replaced. The car was in need of those things but i noticed the service engine light was still on, Does anyone have any other suggestions of what might cause the service engine light to remain on? Anything i should try fixing my self before i take it to a mechanic to get it fixed? Im good with cars and i always try to do things my self before going to the pros. Well any ideas or recommendations will be great to hear from experience. Thank you!
