Check engine light on my 2002 Jeep Liberty won't go away?

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty. The check engine light comes on a couple days after reset. I took it to multiple places and they hooked the computer to it and it points to the gas cap. Replaced the gas cap 3 times and nothing. I went 1 last time to auto zone and there computer said vacuum leak. Where do I begin to look?
 
vacuum leaks are under the hood. look for small rubber hoses that are cracked or unattached. also the computer should give you a code and u can look it up on the internet. example: po302
