okay, so I hate this car in general, its caused us so many problems, so here's the deal. We replaced the fuel pump twice, the catalytic converter, and intake gaskets in the last year. I'm not good with auto terms sorry..anyways the check engine light is on and the inspection is coming up. I took it to autozone and they had trouble reading the code...said something about fuel injector? The car is running fine. Anyone have any idea what this could be? What to look for? How much is would be to fix if you think you know what it is...?
yeh, my husband went to autozone and didn't give me really good details. Said the employee was confused about the codes. thanks for you guys help.

well then, its obviously something about your fuel injector.

go back again, ask them to write down the codes and give them to you.
or write them down yourself.

once you have the codes....

they are easy to look for online to see what code means what.

Catalytic converter burned out ? not very common
Fuel pump twice . check or replace the filter maybe even have the pressure regulator checked or replaced. one of the "rubber" lines could have an internal bubble causing a blockage . tough to find and tough to diagnose
when was the O2 sensor replaced last ?
Intake gasket replaced. I would bet the right rear was where the leak of coolant the aluminum manifold tends to rot out there and should be replaced
Auto-zone personnel aren't very knowledgeable in the diagnostics but could get you in the general direction their code reader just does that read the computer codes it could be a simple loose wire to a bad injector or even the computer itself
