I started to change the spark plugs but after getting to the last one it was too difficult so i just put everything back together! Then right away the check engine light came on and i started noticing it was burning alot more gas than usual! So i took it to autozone to check the codes but none came up. so i checked the fluids and unplugged the batterie for a few minutes to reset it, but nothing changed. The check engine light is still on and it is still burning fuel like crazy! Any ideas?

change that last spark plug and put wires on it if you haven already then take the positive end of the battery cable off and touch it to the negative post and hold it their for ten seconds and then drive it and see if the light comes back on

is the plug loose? try tightening that plug again. it may be only partially running on that cylinder, like almost running on 5 cylinders and using a lot of fuel
