check engine light on 1995 Buick La saber?

had it to auto zone they checked it using their check engine tool,which would not pick up a reading. when you start the car up it bucks it also acts like it wants to keep going( just sometimes )when you have the brake on. some one told me that it could be my fuel filter any suggestions out their
 
If the CHECK ENGINE light is on there is a trouble code that can be found.Your best bet is to take the vehicle to a TRUSTED REPAIR SHOP and let them determine the problem.It may cost you a few dollars but you will get the straight answer.
 
1. Learn about grammar and punctuation. It's amazing.

2. Take it into a mechanic, instead of Autozone, obviously. That's like asking a nurse about your medical problem, instead of a doctor.
