Check Engine light is on - 1998 Dodge Caravan?

The OBDII code is P0420. What is the most likely failure and what is the most likely to be effective corrective action. Driveability has been good, no excessive oil consumption.

I think I need to replace the O2 sensor ahead of the catalytic converter. Can someone confirm my idea?
