I have a 1990 Honda Civic LX it has almost 283,000 miles on it....i've had it for 4 years and I've had no problems until about a week ago...I was driving down the road and smoke was coming out of my dash it smelt like burning plastic..but it was a light smoke i thought i had just driving through it..until my check engine light came on.. It only comes on after i drive my car for 5 mins. And my gas gadge goes from half tank to E it still runs the same but everytime i put it into park it idels at 3500. when I turn it back on the light is off until i drive it 5 mins again? The people at Minike want to charge me 80 bucks for the test and the other places that do it for free only do cars 94' and up..so if anyone has any idea please let me know. Thanks
