My check engine on my Jeep Liberty is on. I took it to a mechanic and they thought it was the oxygen sensor. After replacing them, they found out that was not the problem and could not figure out what the problem was. They were nice not to charge me anything for their time or parts. They suggest that I take it back to the dealer and that the computer system may need to be replaced. Jeep is just over the warranty. Any suggestion on what to fix or look for before I take it in to dealer and have to pay? They also suggest I could probably argue with them over the warranty since it wasn't quite a thousand miles over.
