I checked my gas cap and it is on securely, my car seems to be running fine, except for the fan belt which makes noise when I hit the gas,Could this be why these lights are on. The car drives fine, although it is somewhat shaky when I come to a stop for an extended period of time. I read somewhere that it could be the vacuum emission (?) Thank you for any help you can give.
Check engine and gas cap light on, on a 2001 ford taurus...?
