I have been seriously searching for a good gaming computer because I have moved from consoles to PC games. I already have World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, and the original Modern Warfare and plan to buy all types of games including Starcraft II, Diablo III on release, Black Ops on release, and any other games that I want. I am not looking for a really intense computer but I want to upgrade to a fast computer that would look good on my 42" 1080p TV.
I do not want any sort of accessories, I already use a G35 headset, G15 Keyboard, G13 Keypad, and the WoW Gaming Mouse.
The minimum requirements I want are as follows:
-4GB RAM
-1080p Graphics card (or a cheap graphics card that I can simply replace with my current ATI Radeon 512MB HDMI graphics card)
-Preferably 7.1 Sound but 5.1 would be fine
-Intel Core i5 Processor
-Any hard drive if removable, 500GB if not
I am currently looking at the Alienware Aurora customized at $1300 but I pretty much have abandoned that one because I don't want to spend that much. I am also looking on iBuyPower at a customized Gamer Paladin E720. On iBuyPower I have heard almost all good reviews but the bad ones I see talk about major customer support and shipping time problems. The reviews seem to get better and better as I look at more recent ones.
Can somebody either suggest a good computer or give me their input on iBuyPower.
