Cheap verizon cell phone plans?

I need a new phone. It has to be verizon and I would like it to have certain features. I really want the env3 with texting and picture taking (yes you can have those features taken off of a capable phone). Here is the problem. My mom is super weird about the price and cost of stuff. So I need to get the CHEAPEST plan possible. Please Help Me! Also what is the cheapest way to get the phone and is there a plan where it could be cheap for both of us to have these features?
Also what is the battery power like on this phone, how long does it last?
