cheap or genuine manufactors air filter for honda accord vtec 2000?

Hi

I have now opted to get a standard air filter for my car instead of the k&n, I have done searches for prices etc and a genuine honda air filter will cost 29.99 but I can also get a cheap one for 7.95 (MIKAYO) also there is many to choose from in between those prices.

Shall I get a genuine honda filter or will a cheapo one do the job just as well? or is there any filters I should keep well away from?

Why pay MSRP when you can get something less expensive. Check with Pep Boy's, Auto Zone or other auto parts stores for prices. They usually can't afford to sell junk mdse.
