Cheap, fast Skype

To call Skype for Symbian slow as molasses on my Nokia E51 does not do justice to the experience.

Is there a North American HSDPA frequencies-support (I am in Canada, but willing to buy from the USA) not too expensive phone which runs Skype at a decent speed? I do not even need wifi, I have a decent 6GB data plan I never, ever use more than a few hundred megs.

Oh, iPhone fanboys! A 300USD phone is "cheap" for you? Good for you. The Nokia C5 is $150 and I am hesitant even with that.
