CHAT WEBSITES - can you please help me? 10 points for the answer that works.?

I am a teenager and my msn is really stuffed up. Is there a site where you can chat online and you don't have to download it, also you don't have to open another window for it. And one that doesn't automatically switch the that chat screen when you receive a message? i'm trying to get on this site secretly, so parents dont know i'm on their if they come into the room.

please explain the benefits of your suggestions guys. best one 10 points thanksss :)

It has to be a webiste that you can sign in on your account and talk to mates your added.. like msn and im
 
you can do that with yahoo, when you log in to your email it also logs you in into chat and if you receive a message it opens in a tab on the same window but doesn't take you to same tab when you receive a new message. You can also do this for an AOL email.
