Ok I said screw it and decided to create a channel focusing on e-series devices. Mainly the E61, and upcoming E61i & E90. It's open for discussion on other devices but I figured I would start with the end-all-be-all phones. Anyone familiar with jmirc means that they can log on anywhere. The channel is #e-series on EFNET server. some popular efnet servers include irc.easynews.com or even efnet.xs4all.nl. Stop by and show some love. I created this channel mainly for the few that want "live" interaction every now and then, help with issues, etc. I know we all get tired of camping out on blogs, forums , google..lol.

Let's see how this goes.

jmirc can be found on sourceforge. Probably the best/only form of irc on symbian.

"To download the client just write address http://jmirc.sf.net/jmIrc.jad (case sensitive) in your mobile device's wap browser and you can start your download and install. Alternatively you can get a zipped version, source code or HTTP proxy server all from the download page." -

KUDOS to people that stop by. If all goes well I'll give a test run at just expanding in more forms of symbian in general

There's another S60 IRC client called mIRGGI, I posted about it above. I've never gotten into the whole IRC thing, nor understood it, really, but apparently it's the *****.

The program mirggi above doesn't compare (YET). I tried wlirc2 which seemed to have sooooo much potential but it was bugged out on my e61
