There was a person who came to my house unannounced and we let him in because he said he was from our cable company. I watched him and made sure he didn't take anything. i called our company and they said they didn't have record of a visit to my house. He did have a charter van and tools and everything. he looked legit. but my uncle is part of the Police Department and he said here have been many calls about this and peoples houses are being broken into because when these people come they scout out your house to see how they can get in and what they can take. should i be worried? i do keep my house locked at all times but i sill kind of wonder. any advice you think would keep my house more secure? or just help my situation in general?
