'Charging status' light flashing amber, and laptop won't turn on?

My Toshiba Satellite A55-S306's charging status light keeps flashing amber and I don't know why. Also, it won't turn on now. When I plug it in, the battery light turns green, but the other LED keeps flashing and the laptop will not turn on. I have checked the charger to make sure it was plugged in properly, but I don't know what to do!
Please help!!!!

Hi,

It is quite possible that the charging unit has broken and will need replacing.

Alternatively the battery may well be faulty or discharged and not charging due to the faulty charger.

Take it to a repair center and have it looked at to see what the problem is.

plug your charger into the socket and your laptop, leave it on for like 5 minutes and then try.

Sounds like a power module is fried. Not a terribly huge problem to have fixed.
