charging issues for a 98 honda 300ex?

i have a 98 honda 300 ex it seem as if the battery would not take a charge, so it had to be jumped it would start and run good today it jumped and also after running for about 10 minutes it stalled and since that stall jumped it again and as soon as you disconnect the jumper cables it would die
