Channel 4 halts halfway during it's Simpsons season 2 re-run package

Yesterday evening at 6 i tuned in to Channel 4 to catch a classic Season 2 episode of The Simpsons but they decied to show Season 17 again:confused::confused: Does anyone know why this has happened?
