channel 386

Hi there, Just notice the change of the channel 386, it used to be call bingo but now is PCAM1. and when i tune in, its preview of channels that is playing.

any idea?

i also notice the change that now we have only 11 red carpet channel. the channel 313 to 322 are removed.
 
No idea what 386 is. Is it showing 6 channels at once and it never changes the channels?

It's about time the took off the extra set of red carpet channels. What a pain it was to cycle through two sets of these when going through the guide.
 
How would removing the duplicated 11 red carpet Vu channels create more bandwith? They were the same channels, just duplicated in the guide. It wouldn't take any more bandwith if there was one channel of them or ten sets of them. They were the same channels on the same transponder showing the same thing, just duplicated in the guide. Much like the HD channels currently are. Hopefully the duplicates don't come back. It looks much cleaner now.

As for 386, it says it's Olympic Hockey Player Cam #1. Sounds like the are having some isolated cameras on players with those feeds available.
 
I never looked to see if the were unique channels I just took the work of the OP that they were. I never see Red Carpet Vu or PPV etc, I have them locked out, I only see the channels I subscribe to.
 
386 (PCAM1) and 387 (PCAM2) are player cameras for Olympic hockey. Generally the idea is that the camera stays focused on a player for the whole game.
