Changing to Verizon from Nextel Question

As soon as our current NEXTEL contract expires, we will be changing to Verizon (I think)... I have 2 questions before driving 30 miles to the Verizon Outlet that I would like to have the answers to before the salesperson tries to buffalo me... (1) My current Motorola i850 phone has sim card in it that contains my phone numbers and custom ring tones... will Verizon be able to transfer this data into a new phone such as the Razr and (2) will I still be able to make my own ringtones on my PC and load them into the Verizon Phone either by cable as I currently or Blue Tooth dongle in my PC .. I know there is many types of phones available but we are looking at the Razr for now.. Any information would be appreciated so I am prepared when making the change.. Thanks
