Changing Theme Packs - phone vs. online

I'm thinking about switching some theme packs. I have price protection on Digital Standard and seem to remember that this will continue as long as I don't decrease the number of Theme Packs I subscribe to.

Anyone recommendations on which way to do this (phone vs. online)? They don't charge a fee for programming changes do they?

How long will it take for me to see the changes?
 
Phone. It used to be that online orders took 24 or 48 hours before they were processed. It may be faster now but phone will still get you the channels almost immediately.
 
15 minutes til when the programming change was implemented? If so, its nice to see they've finally automated it. Does Bev let you downgrade online?
 
15 minutes is correct. At the time of my last change, you could downgrade online.
 
A few weeks ago I removed one specialty channel and added another. It took affect within a 1/2 hour (don't recall exactly how long but it was quick).

^^ What your doint is kind of illeagal since expressvu is not allowed out of Canada, so I'm not sure your going to get much help on these forums.

No... Web site woudn't let you downgrade, only make changes for same value or add. You can only remove an item from your programming on the first day of your billing cycle (if agent follows the procedure) and you have to have the programming for a minimum 30 days before we could remove it
