Changing rear brake pads, can't get the caliper off?

I'm changing out the rear brake pads on a 1999 Nissan Maxima that I bought a few months ago. I started hearing terrible screeching noises the other day and when I took off a wheel and inspected, I saw that the pads were almost completely worn down. I took off the two caliper bolts but I can't get the caliper off of the rotor. Any suggestions?
