Changing phones on Verizon Wireless?

I have a Verizon Wireless cellphone and would like to buy another Verizon cellphone from ebay. How would I get the new one to replace the old one?
 
well when you buy and receive the phone, all you need to do is call verizon and tell them that you want to replace your phone with one that you already have. They'll then ask you to take the battery off the new phone and read to them the numbers on the sticker in the back. Once this is done, all you need to do is call a specific number that they give you on the new phone, and thats it! its done...

You can do that, or take it to a verizon store and they'll do it for you, and they'll even transfer your contacts aswell.
 
if you have a Verizon online account just go to activate a new phone and follow the simple directions. if not, call *611 from your current phone, listen to the menu press the activated new phone number and follow the directions. or you can just call customer service and tell them what you wanna do and they will tell ya what to do. its actually surprisingly simple. good luck!

you can buy the phone, and go to the verizon store, then they will transfer everything from the old phone to the new phone. What phone are you getting rid of?
